Bizarre Foods focuses on regional cuisine from around the world which is typically perceived by Americans as being disgusting, exotic, or bizarre. In each episode, Andrew Zimmern focuses on the cuisine of a particular country or region. He typically shows how the food is procured, where it is served, and, usually without hesitation, eats it.
In this episode, he goes to Puerto Rico. The funny thing is that everything he calls “Bizarre”, makes my mouth water. I was hoping he would find some Quenepas, but I guess they weren’t in season.
It is wonderful to see the sights, sounds and tastes of Puerto Rico. Enjoy:
